Sebastian Blunt is a British actor who has gradually built his own place in the entertainment world. He is widely recognised because he is the younger brother of acclaimed actress Emily Blunt, but his professional story does not end with that family connection. Over the years, he has appeared in films and television productions such as Edge of Tomorrow, Jungle Cruise, The Crown, Last Light, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
Unlike his sister, Sebastian has generally stayed away from the intense media attention that comes with international celebrity. His background becomes even more interesting when his drama education, family history, and work with major film and television projects are considered together.

Who Is Sebastian Blunt?
Sebastian Blunt is an English actor with experience in movies, television, and short films. His professional training includes a BA Honours degree in Drama from the University of Bristol, which he completed in 2011. He later continued his training in New York at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Malisa Theatre Academy.
His early work was not limited to acting. He was also involved with the short film Meet and Greet, which his professional résumé credits him with writing and directing. This early creative experience suggests that his interest in entertainment developed from a broader passion for storytelling rather than simply following the path of his famous sister.
Sebastian Blunt Age and Early Background
The exact birth details of Sebastian Blunt are not firmly established across major public sources. Some online biography websites list February 23, 1983, as his date of birth, which would make him 43 years old in 2026. However, his professional representation does not prominently confirm this date, so it is safer to describe the information as a commonly reported detail rather than a fully verified fact.
Sebastian grew up in a London family with strong links to both law and the arts. His father, Oliver Blunt, worked as a criminal barrister, while his mother, Joanna Blunt, had previously worked as a theatre actress before becoming an English teacher. This combination of professional backgrounds gave the Blunt children an environment where both academic achievement and the creative arts were part of family life.
Sebastian Blunt and Emily Blunt
The relationship between Sebastian Blunt and Emily Blunt is naturally one of the most searched aspects of his biography. Emily has become a major international star through movies including The Devil Wears Prada, Edge of Tomorrow, A Quiet Place, Mary Poppins Returns, and Oppenheimer. Sebastian entered the same industry but developed a much quieter professional profile.
The siblings have actually worked on the same movie productions. In Edge of Tomorrow, Sebastian appeared as a Young Soldier, while Emily played the leading character Rita Vrataski opposite Tom Cruise. Their professional paths crossed again in Jungle Cruise, where Emily starred as Lily Houghton and Sebastian appeared as a Society Guard.
Sebastian Blunt Siblings and Family
Sebastian is one of four siblings. His sisters are Emily Blunt, Felicity Blunt, and Susannah Blunt. Each sibling has followed a different professional direction, making the Blunt family an interesting example of people from the same household developing very different careers.
Emily became an internationally recognised actress, while Felicity built a career as a literary agent. Felicity is also married to actor Stanley Tucci, which created another connection between the Blunt family and the entertainment industry. Susannah has largely maintained a private life and has not pursued the same level of public attention as Emily.
Felicity Blunt and Sebastian Blunt
Felicity Blunt is Sebastian’s older sister and another well-known member of the family. She works as a literary agent and is married to Stanley Tucci, an actor known for numerous film and television roles. Their marriage brought the Blunt family and Tucci family together in a way that has attracted considerable public interest.
Felicity and Stanley have children, including Matteo Oliver Tucci, which explains why searches sometimes connect Sebastian with Matteo. Matteo is Sebastian’s nephew. While this family relationship is publicly known, Sebastian himself has generally avoided turning his private family life into a subject of regular media coverage.
Sebastian Blunt Movies and TV Shows
Sebastian’s filmography includes several recognizable productions, although most of his roles have been supporting rather than leading performances. His movie credits include Edge of Tomorrow, Jungle Cruise, and Together, along with earlier short-film projects. These appearances have allowed him to work across different styles of filmmaking.
His television résumé includes Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Last Light, and The Crown. He has also appeared in productions such as Doctors, demonstrating that his career has included both larger international projects and British television work. Rather than being tied to one particular genre, he has moved between action, drama, historical storytelling, and shorter productions.
Sebastian Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow
One of the most interesting entries in Sebastian’s career is Edge of Tomorrow, the 2014 science-fiction action movie directed by Doug Liman. The film starred Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt and became one of the most recognisable titles in Emily’s career.
Sebastian played a Young Soldier in the film. His role was much smaller than those of the principal cast, but the appearance has special significance because it placed him on the same production as his sister. For fans searching for information about Sebastian’s acting career, this remains one of the clearest examples of the siblings sharing a professional project.
Sebastian Blunt Jungle Cruise
Sebastian later appeared in Jungle Cruise, Disney’s 2021 adventure movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. The film follows a river expedition filled with adventure and supernatural elements, with Emily playing explorer Lily Houghton.
Sebastian was credited as a Society Guard in the movie. Although his part was not central to the story, his involvement is notable because it gave him another opportunity to appear in a major Hollywood production alongside his sister. The two films, Edge of Tomorrow and Jungle Cruise, therefore form an unusual part of their shared professional history.
Sebastian Blunt Net Worth and Personal Life
There is no dependable public figure that confirms Sebastian Blunt’s net worth. Various websites may publish estimates, but those numbers are generally difficult to verify because his earnings, investments, property, and other financial details are not publicly documented in full. As a result, assigning him a precise net worth would be speculative.
His personal life is similarly private. Sebastian does not appear to seek the same level of publicity as Emily Blunt, and there is limited reliable information about his relationships or day-to-day life. This privacy makes it especially important to separate confirmed information from claims repeated by entertainment and biography websites without strong supporting evidence.
