Lachlan Robbie is an Australian film professional who has developed a career in the stunt department of movies and television productions. He is widely recognised because of his family connection to actress and producer Margot Robbie, but his own professional journey has taken a different direction. Rather than building a career in front of the camera, he has worked behind the scenes in demanding roles involving stunts, driving, rigging, and stunt doubling.
The name Lachlan Robbie has appeared in the credits of several well-known productions, including Aquaman, Birds of Prey, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Land of Bad. His work demonstrates that he is more than simply a member of a famous Australian family. Over the years, he has developed practical experience in an area of filmmaking that audiences may not always notice, even though it is essential to many action sequences.

Lachlan Robbie Age and Birthday
There is limited reliable information about Lachlan Robbie’s exact age and date of birth. Some websites claim that he was born on March 1, 1989, but this information has not been firmly confirmed by major entertainment sources. Because of that uncertainty, his reported birthday should not be treated as an established fact without further confirmation.
His family position is easier to establish. Lachlan is older than Margot Robbie, who was born in 1990, and he is one of four children raised by their mother, Sarie Kessler. His decision to keep personal details private means that information about his birthday and age is not as widely available as it is for his famous sister.
Lachlan Robbie’s Family Background
Lachlan grew up in Australia as part of a family that eventually became connected with the entertainment industry in different ways. His mother is Sarie Kessler, a physiotherapist, and his father is Doug Robbie. Lachlan has three siblings: Anya Robbie, Margot Robbie, and Cameron Robbie.
The family spent part of its early life in Queensland, where the children experienced a relatively active upbringing. Margot has spoken publicly about growing up with her siblings and about the experiences that shaped their childhood. While Lachlan has shared far less about his early years, his family background helps explain the close connection between the Robbie siblings.
Who Are Lachlan Robbie’s Siblings?
Lachlan is part of a family of four children, and each sibling has taken a different route. Anya Robbie, the eldest, has largely remained outside the entertainment spotlight and has been associated with accounting. Margot Robbie became an internationally recognized actress and producer, while Cameron Robbie pursued work as an actor and presenter.
Lachlan’s career is different from all three of his siblings because much of his work takes place behind the scenes. His professional credits have placed him in stunt departments rather than in the main cast. This makes the Robbie family particularly interesting because several members have found careers connected to entertainment without following exactly the same path.
Cameron Robbie and Lachlan Robbie
The relationship between Cameron Robbie and Lachlan Robbie is notable because both brothers have experience working in entertainment. Cameron has appeared as an actor and presenter, with credits that include Neighbours and Romance at the Vineyard. Lachlan, in contrast, has concentrated on the technical and physical side of film production.
Their careers show two very different ways of working in the same broad industry. Cameron’s work is visible to viewers because he appears on screen, while Lachlan’s contribution is often recognized through production credits. Both have developed professional identities that are distinct from the international fame surrounding their sister.
Sarie Kessler and Lachlan Robbie
Sarie Kessler is an important figure in the Robbie family story because she raised her four children and supported them as they grew up. She worked as a physiotherapist and has been identified as the mother of Anya, Lachlan, Margot, and Cameron. Much of the family’s early life was based in Queensland, Australia.
There is not a large amount of publicly available information about Lachlan’s childhood or his personal experiences growing up. This is partly because he has never maintained the same public profile as Margot. Still, his mother’s role and the family’s Australian background provide useful context when looking at the life of one of the less-public members of the Robbie family.
Anya Robbie and Lachlan Robbie
Anya Robbie is Lachlan’s older sister and the eldest of the Robbie siblings. She has generally lived a quieter life and has been associated with accounting rather than acting or film production. Unlike Margot and Cameron, Anya has not become a regular subject of entertainment news.
There are few publicly documented details about the personal relationship between Anya and Lachlan. Their family connection is clear, but both have kept much of their private lives away from the media. As a result, it is better to focus on confirmed family information rather than make assumptions about their private relationship.
Lachlan Robbie and Margot Robbie
The strongest public interest in Lachlan comes from his relationship with Margot Robbie. Margot’s rise from Australian television to international cinema has made the Robbie family name familiar around the world. She has starred in major productions such as The Wolf of Wall Street, I, Tonya, Birds of Prey, and Barbie.
Interestingly, the brother and sister have also been connected professionally. Lachlan worked in the stunt department on Birds of Prey, the 2020 film in which Margot played Harley Quinn. Having two siblings involved in the same major Hollywood production is a notable part of their family story, even though their roles on the project were completely different.
Lachlan Robbie’s Career in the Stunt Industry
Lachlan has built his professional reputation primarily through stunt work. His credits show involvement in several specialised areas, including stunt performance, stunt doubling, stunt driving, and rigging. These jobs require practical skills and are especially important for productions featuring action, physical performances, vehicles, or complex movement.
His career has included both movies and television programs. Among the productions connected with his stunt work are Aquaman, Alien: Covenant, Birds of Prey, Black Lightning, The Wilds, Troppo, and Ticket to Paradise. The variety of these projects suggests that his experience extends across different production styles rather than being limited to one type of action film.
Major Film Credits
One of the notable titles in Lachlan’s filmography is Aquaman, the 2018 superhero movie. He also worked on Birds of Prey, which has special significance because his sister Margot was the film’s central star. His professional involvement in such productions places him within the wider network of stunt specialists who help bring large-scale movie sequences to the screen.
More recently, he received credits for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, a 2024 action film connected to the long-running Mad Max franchise. He was also involved with Land of Bad, where his credits include work connected with stunt doubling for Luke Hemsworth as well as stunt-rigging responsibilities. These projects represent some of the more recognizable entries in his professional record.
What Does Lachlan Robbie Do for a Living?
Lachlan works primarily in the film industry’s stunt department. His responsibilities can involve physically performing stunts, doubling for actors, helping with stunt rigs, driving for productions, or supporting other technical aspects of action scenes. The exact responsibility depends on the production and the credit assigned to him.
This type of work is quite different from acting. A stunt professional may spend long periods preparing a sequence that audiences see for only a few moments. Their contribution is therefore often less visible, but it can be essential to the production of action-heavy movies and television shows.
Does Lachlan Robbie Have Children?
Public information about Lachlan Robbie’s children is extremely limited. Reliable sources do not clearly establish the number of children he may have or provide confirmed details about them. Some online biography pages contain personal-life claims, but these are not strong enough to present as confirmed information.
His private approach to family matters makes it difficult to give a definite answer. Rather than repeating uncertain claims, it is more accurate to say that his children and wider private family life have not been well documented publicly.
What Is Lachlan Robbie’s Net Worth?
There is no verified public figure for Lachlan Robbie’s net worth. Various websites may publish estimated amounts, but these figures generally do not come with financial records or statements from Lachlan himself. Because reliable public records do not confirm the figure, giving an exact amount would be uncertain.
His film credits show that he has enjoyed a professional career in the entertainment industry, but credits alone cannot reveal a person’s income or personal wealth. His earnings likely depend on the productions he works on, the type of stunt role he performs, and other private professional arrangements that are not publicly available.
Why Is Lachlan Robbie Less Famous Than Margot Robbie?
The difference in public attention between Lachlan and Margot is mainly connected to their professions. Margot works as a leading actress and producer, so her name appears prominently in movie marketing, interviews, award coverage, and entertainment news. Lachlan works primarily behind the scenes, where stunt professionals usually receive much less media attention.
Even so, his career should not be viewed only through his relationship with Margot. His credits show that he has participated in a range of professional productions and developed specialized skills within the film industry. His quieter profile appears to be consistent with the nature of his work and his limited public presence.
Lachlan Robbie’s Life Away From the Spotlight
One of the defining features of Lachlan’s public story is his privacy. While his sister has spent years under international media attention, he has largely allowed his professional credits to speak for him. This has left many parts of his personal life unknown, including some details that celebrity biography websites often attempt to fill with unverified information.
His story also highlights the many different jobs that contribute to filmmaking. Audiences may remember the actors and directors, but stunt performers, drivers, riggers, doubles, and other crew members can have an important role in bringing a production to life. Lachlan’s career is a good example of someone who has built a professional identity without becoming a major on-screen personality.
